JanMitram is running variety of welfare programs. Our primary
focus is to combat poverty; however, sometimes it is necessary to help people of
those areas which are not in our primary focus.
JanMitram Scholarship for ultra poor students.
(Both scholarships are established on the name of parents of organization’s Secretary, Mr. Manish Singh.)
Education is the foundation of a successful life. We have
seen many youth and girls dropping out of education due to financial
constraints. Therefore, the managing board has decided to establish a fund for
providing scholarship to students belonging to ultra poor families.
JanMitram Scholarship for ultra poor students.
Four categories of scholarship are
there.
1. For
Boys ; S.P.Singh Memorial scholarship for
Higher and professional education i.e. MBA, Engineering, Medical etc.
2. For
Girls : Mrs. Janak Dulari Scholarship, in the same educational courses.
(Both scholarships are established on the name of parents of organization’s Secretary, Mr. Manish Singh.)
3.
Shri
K.G.Goswami Scholarship for boys and
4.
Keser
Goswami Scholarship for girls, are founded in school education
category.
(Both are on the name of the parents of
our President Dr. M.G.Goswami.)

Singh Memorial Scholarship – 2013
JanMitram invites Applications
for Scholarships for Educational year 2013-14. Students who have
cleared their respective qualifying examinations (CAT/ AIEEE/ PET/ PMT)
and secured admissions in colleges, can apply for the Scholarship.
Only
Permanent Resident of
Raigarh District in Chhattsgarh shall apply.
Sending
Applications:
Applications
with CVs of candidates shall directly be sent to janmitram@gmail.com. There
is no other method of submitting application.
Requirement and
criteria-
1) We
have no prescribed application form, so feel free to express yourself
in the manner and language you can do
best. Clearly state your achievements so far, reason for asking
assistance (Family/Financial Constraints) etc
2) No
documents/ attachments are needed in initial phase.
However, clearly state your permanent
and present address, parents name and occupation. Amount of
Assistance sought and its justification.
3) You
are required to mention the exam you have cleared with the
marks/percentile/ranking. And at the time of personal interview with us, you
need to produce the score card/copy of score card for the same.
Last
Date of Submission
Kindly
note that there is No last date of submission since all the above mentioned
exams have different schedule and selection timings. Application can be made
round the year.
However,
as we have limited capacity to assist people, applications shall not be
accepted after exhaustion of funds.
Process
After
initial scrutiny of Applications and initial queries, most
Deserving candidates shall be invited to meet the selection committee and
present their case.
After verification of essential documents, and based
on the result of your personal interaction, the scholarship will be
accepted.
We
expect to finish the process in one month after receiving application
from candidate.
Clarifications
A. Student
can ask for support for semester fee, Books or other essential Expenses.
B.
No
bar of BPL or caste etc for application.
C.
Scholarship shall
only be given for government collages, for BE and MBBS. For MBA, only CAT score
card would be accepted and Admissions in some specific (AICTE/HRD ministry
approved) collages listed by our selection committee would be
considered.
D. No
cash support shall be given to candidate or parents. Semester fee of
candidate would be directly paid to educational institution via
bank payments. Same shall be applicable for books and other expense
assistance.
E. We
can impart Partial support or full, depending up on decision of selection committee.
F. Student
got support in earlier year Shall be kept down in priority list
G. The
approval rights of scholarship are completely reserved by the committee. No
questions and claim would be entertained regarding the selection criteria and
process.
Preference
1.
Girls
Shall be preferred over similar male candidate.
2. Direct dependents of Forest Departments Personals ( Class
III- Forest Guard, Forester, Clerical Staff) Whether
working or retired shall be preferred over similar other candidate.
